Styling for thesis submission?!

I bought this pair of shoes to match my dress.
Of course, to celebrate too! ^^

I am happy to announce that I've finally submitted my dissertation yesterday (17th Dec 2012)! I've had about 3 extension dates, and I guess third time is indeed lucky as I've made it finally. It may be silly but I chose my dress carefully on my submission date. I wanted to wear one of my favourite dresses. It is one way I cope and celebrate little events in my life. I wonder if anyone else does this too? If yes, I'd love to hear about your thesis submission styling. ^^

Spotlight on - Nook Tour, Nakazaki-cho, Osaka (Part 2)

One of the shops that I visited while in Nakazaki-cho was Nook Tour. They sell lovely jewellery and cute small items. Some of the earrings in this store is sold as a piece. I love the concept that you can buy just one instead of a pair. After all, the fun bit is mixing and matching. Each key earring has a different number and you can pick which number you like. Totally love the packaging too! ^^

A lovely surprise.....

The postman came this morning a delivered a package. Since not expecting any, I was confused... but what a delight to discover it was from Melita from Yarn at Heart and the package contained a new lovely green (yes, green! yay!) hairband!!!

Thank you so much Melita!!! I can't wait to wear it!!! \^^/
